Captain Gregory Turner retires after 35 years of service!

Captain Gregory Turner retired January 1st, 2021 with 37 years as Harbor Pilot at the Port of Palm Beach. He has handled over 18,000 ships in those years including freighters, containerships, tankers, barges, bulk carriers and cruise ships. He helped renew the Pilot Boat fleet and moved the pilot station to the waterfront location at the Riviera Beach Marina. Greg enjoyed teaching the intricacies of the winds and currents to the next generation of Pilots. We wish him relaxation and happiness in his retirement years!
