Cadet Adel Sotolongo, class of 2015 of Texas A&M Maritime Academy intern

Cadet Adel Sotolongo performed a one week internship with the Palm Beach Harbor Pilots in August of 2014. The Pilots offer Internships to all Cadets, minorities and otherwise, from any of the 7 Maritime Colleges. Adel was able to ride aboard numerous vessels that transit Lake Worth Inlet to and from the Port of Palm Beach and to learn the various shiphandling techniques offered by the Pilots. Adel plans to graduate from the Texas A&M Maritime Academy in 2015 with a Third Mate's License. We wish him luck in his endeavors at sea and goals of one day becoming a Florida State Harbor Pilot.
