Partrick Deegan - US Merchant Marine Academy

Midshipman Patrick Deegan from the US Merchant Marine Academy performed a 2 week Internship with the Palm Beach Harbor Pilots in July of 2018. Patrick was able to observe the Piloting and shiphandling aspects aboard various vessels at the Port of Palm Beach along with the day to day dispatch and billing operations associated with running a pilot station. Patrick plans to graduate from Kings Point in June of 2019 with a B.S. in Nautical Science. We wish him well at sea and in his endeavors of one day qualifying and becoming a FL state harbor pilot. Patrick is of Mexican decent.
