Scholarship Winner Isaac Burneo, class of 2015 of Texas A&M Maritime Academy

The Palm Beach Harbor Pilots host an Annual Minority Scholarship Award worth $1000 and internship with the Palm Beach Harbor Pilots at the Port of Palm Beach. The award is given to the essay winner from a maritime academy student currently enrolled at one of the seven maritime colleges. Our latest scholarship winner and intern for 2014 is Isaac Burneo, class of 2015 of Texas A&M Maritime Academy.

Upon graduating Texas A&M Maritime Academy, Issac plans to sail as a US Merchant Marine, hopefully in the worldwide trade aboard deep-sea vessels. He aspires to raise his license and qualify to train as a Harbor Pilot one day. We wish him well in his endeavors.
