Port of Palm Beach Annual Summer Internship Program

The Palm Beach Harbor Pilots participated in the Port‘s Annual Summer Internship Program which allowed high school seniors to shadow the pilots for half of a day. The internship included a tour of the pilot Station and a ride-a-along aboard ships. The pilots were able to demonstrate the job which included ship handling through the Lake Worth inlet entrance channel and the day to day operations of running a pilot station. We congratulate all of the interns for winning the Summer Internship Program and wish them luck with their continued education and careers following graduation.
