We learned that student Samantha Orren had an interest in the maritime industry and in working as a harbor pilot. Samantha is a Junior at St. Matthew’s Catholic. The Palm Beach Harbor Pilots were able to arrange a ride-along day to show her the various aspects of ship handling and Pilot operations. We wish her luck in her endeavors of joining the Merchant Marine and in one day becoming a Harbor Pilot.
